This functionality is often related to the WordPress theme which is used by millions of websites world-wide, or maybe the server’s slow. Please wait a couple minutes and then try again.
There’s a time lag between when you create your new password and when the system actually records it. I’ve done everything I can to speed up the site. As I get more members I hope to upgrade the server.
In the meantime, I apologize for any inconvenience or stress it may cause you not to be able to re-set it in a timely manner cause I know…it can be frustrating.
